I was born in London in 1998. At the age of 8 I began my formal musical education starting with piano lessons, later taking up electric guitar, which lead me to playing in rock and metal bands in my teens. At the age of 15 I started busking on electric guitar in Camden Market; it was there that I quickly learned how to keep music exciting and the audience engaged. I performed my own compositions with this in mind. At the age of 16 I fell in love with the piano music of Chopin and Liszt and focused relentlessly on my technique, which has opened up so many options for me as a composer. After spending a gap year practising piano, composing and working in an events venue to pay for musical equipment, I started a music degree in Bangor, North Wales. Since then I have spent time refining my abilities as a musician, working as a social media representative for a renowned European concert pianist and have written music for a number of audiobooks (one of which was nominated for the 2019 German Critics’ Prize). I have also worked with students on film and video game projects in institutes such as the London South Bank University.
